Original Video:

Edited Video:

I definitely found this project in Premier to be more of a struggle than the work in Audition. Even though the tools of the program were not extremely different, I believe it was the overall comfort of the Audition program which made it easier to navigate around and use the tools. In my edited video, I decided to cut off the second half of the song using the razor tool along with taking off the original transitions between clips and replacing them with different ones. I also decided to change the color of the second clip from a blue to a purple color using the video effects. Lastly, I added a voice effect to make the word "rainbow" sound different than the way it was originally pronounced. With these changes made to the original video, it is completely different than the way it was in the original clip.

Blog Post #1

Derek Jeter

In my short story, I interviewed one of my friends on one of the best days of his life which happened to be the day he met Derek Jeter. With having no experience in working with Audition before, I can say it was definitely a new experience for me. It took some time adjusting to some of the tools, but once I got the hang of working with this program, I became more comfortable with it. The hardest part of the project for me was trying to make the video sound smooth. There were a lot of cuts made and parts taken out, which made it difficult to make the video flow nicely together as if it was the original video. After all of the editing was completed, I created a sound cloud account and then embeded the videos onto the blog. Overall, it was a good first experience working with Audition.
